Responsible Drinking
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Every N.11 bottle is made slowly, in small batches, with botanicals chosen one by one. It deserves the same respect in the glass: you taste it, you recognise it, you share it. It is not something to overdo.
Please drink responsibly
Please drink responsibly. We say it on this site and in our communications, and we mean it. A good spirit is enjoyed all the more when you choose how much, when and with whom to drink it.
No sales to persons under 18
In Italy the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 is prohibited (Article 14-ter of Italian Law No. 125 of 30 March 2001, introduced by Decree-Law No. 158 of 13 September 2012, converted into Law No. 189 of 8 November 2012). For this reason:
- when you enter the Site we ask you to confirm that you are at least 18 years old;
- to complete an order you must declare in the cart that you are at least 18 years old or, if higher, of the legal age to buy alcohol in the country of delivery;
- we may ask the courier to check an identity document on delivery, and parcels are not delivered to minors;
- we cancel orders where we have reasonable doubts about the age of the customer or of the recipient.
If you are buying for someone else, do not give or pass on our products to minors.
When not to drink
- During pregnancy and breastfeeding: health authorities recommend not drinking alcohol.
- Before driving: always comply with the limits set by law; in Italy the Highway Code (Articles 186 and 186-bis) requires a blood alcohol level of zero for certain categories of drivers, for example newly licensed drivers and drivers under 21. If you drink, don't drive.
- If you are under 18.
- If you are taking medicines or have health conditions for which alcohol is not advised: ask your doctor.
- At work or before carrying out activities that require attention and safety.
Guidance from health authorities
The Italian Ministry of Health and the Italian National Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità) point out that drinking alcohol involves health risks, which increase with the amount consumed: the less you drink, the lower the risk. According to the World Health Organization, there is no level of alcohol consumption that is safe for health. For official guidance, see the websites of the Italian Ministry of Health (www.salute.gov.it) and of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (www.iss.it), or those of the health authorities in your country.
Some simple tips: alternate alcohol with water, don't drink on an empty stomach, choose quality over quantity and don't feel obliged to drink to be part of the company.
If you need help
If you think alcohol is becoming a problem for you or for someone close to you, talk to your GP or contact the addiction services (SerD) of your local health authority (ASL). Outside Italy, contact the health services in your country.
